Becoming a Member

The Foundry Mountaineering Club is an associate member of the British Mountaineering Council. The Club is run by the members for the members. Membership is open to anyone interested in climbing or mountaineering regardless of sex, age, disability, ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation, religion or any other beliefs except as a necessary consequence of the requirements of climbing or mountaineering

To climb & mountaineer safely, as well as use the Club facilities, you will need to have the skills and knowledge to ensure you can participate in the activity without hurting/endangering yourself or others. Therefore, the Club requires members to read and sign up to the Club’s “Membership Rules and Conditions of Use” and we ask that you recognise the BMC's Participation Statement.

“The BMC recognises that climbing and mountaineering are activities with a danger of personal injury or death. Participants in these activities should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions.”

Fees and Subscriptions

The Foundry Mountaineering Club CIC offers several membership options which are listed below. Your membership to the Club provides an unlimited Climbing during your subscription.

All-Day Membership (Single Entry)

Adult Single Entry

£9.50 Peak

£8.50 Off-Peak

Concession / Student Single Entry

£8 Peak

£6.50 Off-Peak

Under 18 Single Entry

Off-Peak times are before 4pm from Monday to Friday.

Peak times are after 4pm Monday to Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday.

Monthly Direct Debit with GoCardless

Our monthly, contact-free Direct Debit option provides flexibility to start and stop to suit your schedule. With flexibility comes comes great value for money. Individual Membership

Family Membership

£47 per month

(Family membership includes parents and any under 18 children)

Timed Memberships

Choose from our timed memberships, including 12, 6 and 3 month options.

These packages start from the date you purchase the membership. This style of membership provides the most cost effective climbing option but once purchased, cannot be cancelled or refunded.
